A few hours ago i spoke to the mayor about the situation. We had a very scary day today. We were concerned last night that we would lose quite a few homes. All the different agencies coming to support our time. Altogether not infrastructures at least have been destroyed. 17 damaged and almost 80,000 were structures are still being threatened. Here at the fairgrounds, we just found out there about 670 people staying here. They have room for about 50 more. The red cross assures us they will continue to open more shelters as needed. Bay area schools are closed today in response to the ongoing fire danger. All School Districts will be close because of the kincaid fire today and tomorrow. Charter schools will also be closed through tuesday. They will reassess the closure based on changing conditions. Any updates will be shared at 4 pm. All schools in pacifica will stay closed today.
