Darren peck is joining us now from a look at the forecast, and darren, weve been watching that fog roll in. Had to be one of the nicest sights for so many of us. Yes, love watching it. At least it brought back normal relative humidity. For those of us near the bay, let me show you. Heres a time lapse from the camera on top of sutro, watching the clouds cruise in through the golden gate. Inland locations it was still warm and the relative humidities still low, but to start somewhere, and this was the beginning today with a strong on shore surge coming through the bay. Heres the camera on top of the Sales Force Tower looking out over the west of the city now. Here it come, and it will only surge on shore even more now that the sun has gone down. But looking at how it played out for daytime highs, it was not an equal experience across the bay. Concord was 81, 69 is average. And San Francisco is 71, only about 3 degrees above average. So feeling it more the closer we are to the coast and the influence of the bay. And were starting to notice the overnight lows, only 50 in San Francisco, 53 pacifica. And when we left off last week the numbers were going down to 29, so were at least getting some of the benefits now where the on shore flow and increased humidity are keeping the overnight lows up. And for the daytime highs, weve got a story here. Were staying like 10 degrees above average for many locations, particularly the further inland you are, and thats the way much of the sevenday forecast will go. Pick out your part of the bay. I want to use concord as the example. 69 the average daytime high. We hit 80 tomorrow, and very little change the next 5 days11 and bringing it back into the bay, ill show you oakland now. The average goes down to 66, so its a little lower than concord, but the numbers are still coming in pretty much just as far above, maybe not as far, but still above it. 75 by the time we get to wednesday. And for San Francisco temperatures in the low 70s here as well. So thats the specifications for 3 examples, but your general take away is if youre inland, youre staying in the low to mid80s and mid70s next week in San Francisco, and no rain. Even looking at the long range forecast models, theres reason to believe even going out like a week and a half, no rain coming our way yet. Now dennis has whats going on in sports.
