Looks like it is not causing a lot of delays right now, traffic is in the green as you work your way in and out of the city. South of there, if youre commuting out of san jose early this morning, now is a great time to be on the roadways. We are seeing a lot of green along the 101, which is good. An easy ride along 280 as well. Your drive times here, pretty easy. Seven minutes to go north 101 over to 680, 280. Weve got the usual stuff for supercommuters coming out of tracy heading into the Altamont Pass. Im anne makovec at the live news desk. Following the latest on this Police Pursuit in crash. It started in vallejo and you can see this video from early this morning of the chp chasing that vehicle near the bay bridge. It ended up crashing at folsom in San Francisco. And this is that person, the driver that the chp arrested at that point. Originally, the vallejo pd called the chp to say that they were pursuing a vehicle in connection with the shooting investigation. Invalid hill. The vehicle ended up on 80 and ended up on 880 and some city streets in oakland, back across the bay bridge and that is what it crashed on third and folsom. Interns at the driver was not related in any way to that shooting. But did have several felony warrants out for her arrest, and that is exactly what officers did. A man is mom and attacked while trying to collect cans. And a warning, the video is hard to watch. Someone captured this video in the bay view. You can see a crowd mocking the man and yelling racial remarks while another man since at him with a trash picker. It quickly went viral. Now San Francisco police want to know who is behind it. Seeing some thing with that is very disheartening. I do not see anyone in that video trying to stop what was happening from going on. And so again, that is why we have to educate our community how to treat each other right and make sure we Work Together to stop bullying, to stop assault and to stop any type of madness like this. If you recognize the victim or any of the suspects in the video, police want to hear from you. A 12yearold girl is dead after a hit and run in Castro Valley while she was walking home from school. The girl was walking in a crosswalk when her sister when this happened. They were only about 50 yards away from home. Authorities say that the girl had a Green Crossing like so the truck that hit the 12year old was a lifted black ford f 150 truck. Making a left turn from manter road onto crow canyon road. For unknown reasons, the driver of the pickup truck did not see the girls and collided into one of them. Sadly, one of those girls has succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. And a man and woman are in custody after police say they drove their suv over a curb and into two Homeless People. It all started last night. Authorities say 10 minutes later, the driver hit an sfpd patrol vehicle on crown terrace and twin peaks. Offices in the vehicle were not hurt. Both Homeless People were taken to the hospital. And they are expected to be okay. Happening today, students from oaklands Mcclymonds High School will be back in class, but on different campuses. The district is waiting on final test results after discovering the cancercausing chemical tce at the groundwater around the school. For the rest of the week, freshman will have class at ralph bunche academy, sophomores and juniors will be at west oakland middle school, seniors will go to the was like middle school. That is where we had another trouble spot. Chp reporting an accident right at that 680 connector. It is blocking at least one lane and we do have a big of a back up there. 580 right at takahara.
