The showers push through heading into saturday afternoon. The first burst of rain wont last all day. Theres the heavier rain. Looks to move in sunday morning. That pushes through my early to midsunday afternoon. If we get the heavier downpours or small hail, that looks to be late morning into early afternoon on sunday, and we get a little break sunday evening, but lingering showers still in the forecast on monday. And in the high country, its going to be snow and a lot of it. Heres the rain we expect through monday. Talking about a half inch to three quarters of an inch in most spots. But the higher terrains, the mountains could pick up over an inch of total rainfall, and we need it. Thats 1 to 3 feet of snow, even 4 feet of snow in the high sierra over the weekend, eating away at the snow pack deficit, while the bay area eats away at the rainfall deficit.
