Repeated requests for information, statements, we still have not gotten any. The family and the protesters demand justice. Reporter the chp say they were conducting a criminal investigation when the 23year old eric salgatto was shot and killed during a vehicle pursuit. His pregnant girlfriend was in the car and survived. Eric and briannas child did not make it. She has passed. She has passed away, and so the police have murdered their unborn child as well as eric. Reporter the shooting happened saturday night where this memorial of candles and flowers are now. The police say salgatto was driving a 2018 Dodge Challenger that was among among 70 cars stolen from this dealership. The majority of cars tracked down using theft recovery gps. The owner telling me at least 60 cars have been recovered. As you can see, they havent been recovered in one piece. This windshield is completely busted out. This particular car has the engine torn out. All of the rims on this particular car ripped off.
