What areas may be cooler for example. We dont want to take on anymore customers necessary either. Were looking to identify the blocks that will add up to the exact number of the customers that are needed and also we will need to take a look at who has been taking over, to do the best that we can to make sure they were not also taken out on saturday. All right, take a look at this video don shared with us from last nights storm. Theres a phenomena, ultra rare known as ball lightning. Im just looking at it. If that is an example, your guess is as good as mine, but they could not explain the phenomenon and other than the fact it looks like a ball of lightning. But it will need to leave that smell, in all the years where she been doing weather. I have never seen that example, have you . No. Were skeptical, are you . Yes. And i mean there is a growing consensus that it is a legitimate thing in the scientific community, but not a lot of verifiable image. If you have stuff, it could have been ball lightning, who knows, but jimmy carter saw a ufo in 1969. But i dont know. Lets get into the forecast and take a look at highdef doppler with me, showing off to the east over the sierra, and that is where it should be tomorrow where it is coming back for us. If we take a look at the forecast on the big picture, you can see we did this at the top of the newscast, which looks to be an exact replay of what happened for us this morning, but i just want to go over a couple of things before we come back to this. While we do have a chance for thunderstorms again tomorrow, lets not overlook the fact that we still have a heatwave going on. First and foremost, heat warnings and advisories, lets break this up into the two important notions that we need to discuss. The first one is the excessive heat warning and the significant risk of the heat related illness until 9 00 on wednesday. Still got a while to go with this and that is centered over here. So walnut creek, concord, san ramon, liver mother posted. Youre in it. That is where we will be doing the 107, well show you the numbers in the seven day. If youre in the immediate bay a heat advisory instead of the significant risk. You will have a risk of the something to take seriously. Now that one will expire at 9 00 tonight. Likely going to get picked up again over the next few days. If you look at the big picture, all the clouds that are streaming our way is just a small piece of what happened with a break up hurricane Tropical Storm down here. Do you see that . The leftovers of Tropical Storm. That got pulled up our way. If youre going to get thunderstorms in the bay area and in august, youve got to have a whole bunch of things come together. You couldnt see it, but you see the counterclockwise spin. Right there weve got an area of low pressure and a weak one sitting off the coast. But the dominating factor is the big area of High Pressure over here spinning everything clockwise. Now look what happens between the two and a very strong tug in that atmosphere that was able to reach down into the sub tropics and pull in all this humidity, feels like youre in hawaii when you step outside right now. Of course, thats the fuel for the thunderstorms. But the timing on it tomorrow should shift, but it looks like it will be identical to what we did today and it could be just as widespread. Stay on top of this forecast with us and well have much more coverage between now and through the morning tomorrow with mary more on that in a second. As far as daytime highs tomorrow, back in the mid90s. 75 in santa clara and 95 in santa clara. 94 in redwood city. Hayward youre going up to 91. Numbers will go back up to 108 in concord. 104 for liver mother. 105 for walnut creek. Brentwood, youre going to 108 tomorrow. Well see the number at berkeley at 87. San rafael 97, and santa rosa 99. The sevenday forecast, you can see that spread through the first half of this week. As unusual as it is to get the thunderstorms and the lightning show that we have, it is also unusual for us to get such a prolong stretch of heat. We still need to get through the next few days. Mary will be in tomorrow morning, tracking whatever thunderstorms there are. And gianna will be on the road, letting you know what it looks like where they will go straight through 7 00. Ill be back with more. For now dennis, over to you. The former 49er will make an unbelievable return to the practice field. And that thunder youre talking about, darren, at oracle, it was the as the as ninth inning comeback to beat the giants. No need for that today. Now how about a ninerun inning for the Oakland Athletics . Giants with a sense of the cutout to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the police. 10 oakland. Now the bottom two, the line drive, second home run of the year to tie it up by one. He scores from the first and he will reach third on the error. The bottom of the inninggets jammed, drops them down the left field line. Crawford will score to tie the game. This is such a weird hit ball, but he thought it popped it up. And that is one that he would need to replace that starter and the first throw, matched into left field and the tworun shot for oakland. Now later in the inning, 62 will crush one to the top of the left field bleacher, thats a threerun home run, five runs batted in the game. Marcus semien will get in there, caps off the ninerun inning for the as. Crushing the giants 153 to finish off an oakland sweep. They had nine home runs, scored 30 runs, and theyre 166. The best record in baseball. We havent been the fastest starters, but its good to see them. No doubt about that to keep it going, where did he go from here . How do you move on . And to very quickly address the issues, to talk about what we could do better to work on our process and then to have a short memory. And that is my favorite story of the weekend. They cleared to return the football. Celebrating with his lytoon the practice rse 20 a long road back from a broken leg requiring 17 surgeries and an infection that would nearly cost him his life. How great is that . Im so happy for him. I know hes real tough. He didnt want it to end the way that it did with the leg and so now hes back. Flames are looking to take over a commanding lead. But calgary leading in front of the net. Now guess who will be there. The former shark will score to tie it up with 12 seconds left and they gave little joe a hat trick for the game. And they even up the series at two games a piece. Running the track and the road course for the first time ever. Chase elliott hands them off for their Third Straight road course win, the second victory of the victory. Where nobody has tested positive for the coronavirus. Thats good to hear. Dennis coming up in the next half hour and an update on the brush fire that is setting up the huge plume of smoke near milpitas. I just heard a loud boom there. That just fell. And plus the storm will become a little too close for comfort in the east bay. And House Speaker nancy pelosi will cut them short for congress to address a big problem at the post office. Its coming up. Now at 6 30 three lightning sparked brush fires burning across santa clara and alameda county, now forcing evacuations. Theyre calling it collectively, the marsh fire. Tonight its proving to be a challenging fire fight. The flam
