This is the fire that has been burning for about a week now in the Point Reyes National seashore and these Evacuation Orders came late last night and there are three dozen homes in southwest of olema. It has burned almost 3000 acres and was 5 contained. It has been creating a lot of challenges for firefighters. So the following areas are under Evacuation Order. I want to show you on a map and give you the details you need to know if you are in this area. Silverhills road, fox drive, and noren lane needs to evacuate immediately and then go towards point reyes. This is near the civic center. They would prefer that you try to go somewhere else at this point. A lot of those Evacuation Centers are being stretched thinly as you might imagine. That area on the map is the evacuation warning. If you live within that area, we are talking highway one around lagunas creek, sal sir Francis Drake, charge up your evacuation warning turns into an order. We are going to continue to follow this all morning long and in the meantime, road closures in that area, all around the bay area, that has been right here with all of these fires pretty on a is keeping an eye on what we can expect. The new Evacuation Orders which are mandatory, those are for folks who live in these areas, silverhills road, fox drive, and noren lane. They have to evacuate. But there are more people who have been urged to leave and you need to be prepared to do so. They are around highway 1 to Francis Drake and everything north of Francis Drake and highway one and basically the east of highway one. That is because the fire is around 27, just over 2700 acres that have burned and only about morning. Zy. Interestingly enough, for folks who have to evacuate, sir Francis Drake boulevard is the only way in or out. Getting from inverness highway 1 they want people to evacuate towards the coast in order to avoid disrupting traffic for firefighters were trying to make sure they can handle those flames.
