We have a couple of hot spots east on highway 4 after little past road. There is a crash blocking lanes for all the delays on the west outside so it may likely affect that side as well. The president is expected to take part in the calfire wildfire briefings alongside governor gavin newsom. Climate change has been a hot topic in the president ial race. The shooter is on the loose this morning as far as we know after kiinde family members say it was a 30 yearold father of four who was murdered as he was using the atm. This happened about a quarter to 10 00 at this gas station on sacramento street in vallejo. So far police arent saying much. They are not giving a description of the suspect in this case. Chofficer got into the ca to put it into park and then started convulsing. Three more responding chp officers and others including a tow truck driver also started feeling ill. We deemed it a hazmat scene at a crime scene. A little bit goes a long way with fentanyl and that is why it is so incredibly dangerous to any first responder, that has to deal with it. According to marin chp, all five officers and the tow truck driver have been released from the hospital. The suspect has been booked into San Francisco county jail. It is now 6 09. Traffic is slow and go as you have through the area. 32 minute drive time in the end to east shore freeway. 45 minute drive time now for the commute into the Altamont Pass out of tracy. It is a slow ride around Mountain House and delays really start to stack up around the 205, 580 connector. That is where the 45 minute drive time begins all the way to the 680 area. That is how long it will take to get to the dublin interchange. No accidents in that area so that is good news. We have trouble spot that chp has been working on overnight. For miles but directions closed at foothill road. Use alternate 680 or 238. This is due to a crash that hit a power pole. A lot of activity on the scene. It is going to usher stronger marine influence for us in the bay area and that means improving quality conditions.
