The city of danville trying to limit the spread of covid19 after a recent uptick in cases. Harts avenue between diablo road and prospect will be open again. Its been closed on weekends since june. The council says a closure benefits accomplishments on harts but folks arent social distancing or wearing masks, the city recorded 35 cases in the past two weeks. Just minutes ago, pg e gave an update on the utilitys efforts to restore power to thousands of customers. As of this briefing, about 305,000 customer haves been reenergized. The remaining 45,000 customers will be restored between now and tomorrow midday as the weather has cleared. Now, ill also note our initial reports indicate that we saw 130 incidents of damage or hazard to our equipment during this wind event.
