The timing, nobody really paid attention to small indian businesses. It has played havoc. The new delhi Restaurant Owner says diwali is one of the busiest times of for them. Its basically christmas. Its a celebration of light, and the holiday last for five days. They thought this celebration would give them a big financial boost after a tough months. The Indoor Dining ban into this large restaurant will remain empty. They are looking a new Near Union Square and is no room for entertaining. The staff once again laid off and the extra food he purchased for the reservations will be donated. This is the chair where i sat. This immigrant owned restaurant has hosted people of all backgrounds. But this San Francisco institution is in danger of closing. We are the only Indian Restaurant on the legacy indian registry. We have lost at least 40 to 50 of the business. That is a huge revenue loss. This restaurant is hoping many cancellations will turn into take out so the food is not wasted. They have three outdoor tables but they say most people dont want to eat in the rain and cold. At the moment of time yes we are going through a crisis, no doubt about it.
