We start out early on tuesday morning, then we track that line, going right through the heart of the bay, through the late morning. By the time you get to the early afternoon, weve seen those showers, that organized line that is now moving down through the south bay. What kind of computer or mobile device students might have. But for some the obstacles may be more basic than that. For some it may be as simple as a desk. Two and a half years ago the restaurant merced opened on Treasure Island to serve the working class residents, many who live in crowded project housing. But when the pandemic hit, they read about a man Building Student desks. And i thought that they were a community, and if you are partnering with us and without question. They had prototypes ready. First of all you can see the coastal flood advisory, which the National Service issue advisory along the shoreline and the beaches when we would think of the high tides, but we also think of the bay, the shoreline in the bay, specifically some of the low lying spots. So we would hit them today. Thats when we would get our video of the water kind of lapping up on the parts of the embarcadero, which is very typical. Theyre just higher tides than typical high tides. The time frame on this tomorrow is monday at 11 25. So pretty similar a little bit later on in the day, just as high. One thing to keep in mind is the low lying road here. One of the troubled spots, coming up on 101, you get off on highway 1 to go through mill valley. And that low lying intersection is right where you get off the freeway. Just classic for being exposed to the bay. You can get some water. Sometimes they have to close that off ramp. A couple of things to keep in mind for that one. Lets talk about tuesdays rain. By the way, monday will reap the benefits. This is monday morning at 9 30. Tomorrow will be sunny and warm with a bunch of low 70s. But lets bring in the leading edge of the rain, which will get here on tuesday and makes for a different kind of day. We would look at this at the top of the newscast to show you the timing on it once again. A well organized cold front, marchs its way across the bay area. This is classic winter storm type stuff. This is not a terribly intense storm, but does have all the characteristics of one. By that i mann you get it in two phases. You get a cold front, which will march across the bay as one continuous line of showers. Everybody will get something. Thatll happen between about sunrise and 2 00 in the afternoon. Thats the first part of tuesday. And that will be the best rain of this twoday event. But its not the only way that were going to get rain. Once that cold front passes through on the backside of this you start to fill in with scattered hit or miss showers. Thats what tuesday afternoon and wednesday will look like. So its spotty and hit and miss and youre going to see rain on both days for tuesday and wednesday. But the nature of the rain and the characteristics of the rain will be different for tuesday morning. It will be the more impressive of the time frame. But look at the totals. Anywhere from a quarter of an inch of rain. Up in the north bay. So there will be a wide range. Everybody will get something. This is good news for the sierra over a foot coming up. More than that up at the resorts, which means if they had be traveling, theres a winter storm watch for tuesday afternoon through wednesday. Travel will be hazardous. Morning lows tomorrow not a problem. Mid to upper 40s and the daytime highs, they are actually really nice. Low 70s. These numbers are above average, where it will be sunny and the day before the storm will get here if you like that kind of thing. Get out and enjoy it. If youre going anywhere near the water, remember the time frame. And in the sevenday forecast, were done, once we get past wednesday and it looks like we could be done for you for a while. When i check back in with you in the next half hour, the long range forecast will start to look a lot like la nina. And i want to explain what i even mean by that and i will point it out to you and you will say yeah, that looks like it wont be the best news for us. For now juliette, back to you. Thank you.
