Firefighters, they were hoping to get something for christmas, but so far they havent. And this time of the year we would expect to have a lot more rain and we have not had that yet. Any potential starts will have the potential for growing rapidly. And that will take effect tonight at 11 00, it will remain in place for 12 hours. And they are here to tell us whats going on. Thats the way they will typically go. But its not only the mountains with the red flag warning. This will be a windy enough situation. Youll notice it where you live. And enough so that the National Weather service has issued a wind advisory for all the communities around the bay area with the exception of the santa clara valley. It shouldnt be too windy, but you will notice the winds up here in the north bay, where we could see gusts up to the overnight hours inland here as well for inland, contra costa, alameda county. Now darren, red flag warning, high surf warning, big swell, when will we hit the rain . Middle of december maybe. Okay, good really. Well, thats looking at the long range forecast. And you cant really trust anything. But thats the number one reason why we are talking about fire weather concerns in the mountains so far, and that chief that we heard from earlier in the newscast, he nailed it. That is the fact that we are so dry and the winds will be coming our way. Tomorrow, the beginning, you probably wouldnt notice them at all, but because they are so dry and that is why we Start Talking about the fire weather concerns. It will be 56 degrees here, concord 53. Everybody in the same spot. And those numbers, they dont have to go a whole lot lower, although we will see those numbers dip down in spots, but nothing out of the ordinary here for those morning lows. We are going to replay what you have been doing in the morning, however cold, its been getting for you. Tomorrow is the exact same way that will make the headlines. Lets get specific and time it out for when youll see the worst of it and i will start it out. Now watch what happens for the overnight hours. And look at fremont and san jose and Mountain View as you barely notice a thing, that it is going to 25 for mount hamilton, the winds will come from the east. They will rush over the ridge tops hear in the north bay. Then they will speed up on the downward speed and that is where we will get into the trouble spots. You probably wont notice a whole lot from this and remember the timing on that as we started to notice the real uptick around 3 30. Now a little after 9 00, a couple hours after sunrise. It is still going in the mountains, so it will go for a couple of hours. Then once we get into the late morning, the winds will turn off and it will not be that big of an issue once we get past that. The other element of this is, of course, how dry things will get on top of how dry the landscape is, which is the primary concern to begin with. Now watch the difference from today at 2 00 for relative humidity. Were in the mid40s for the north bay. Now ill play this ahead to 2 00 tomorrow. And a dramatic shift in the colors to dry, but look at the offshore winds that will show you how this is such a concern. Any time the winds are coming from that direction will be drier and warmer, down to the teens, much drier air tomorrow, which will factor into this as well. But thats going to tie in to Something Else besides the fact weve got fire weather concerns, which is the headline. Were going to be so warm tomorrow because of this pattern. We could tie break our records in some spots for daytime highs. A lot of loose 70s on the map right now. And we will have to remind you again its early december, we are still looking at whether that looks more like october. Just to give you the comparison, we wont be shattering records, but how close will they come . We will pick out a couple of repetitive spots. Concord will go to 71 and the numbers are on the right with that record that will stand. Most places will not get there, but concord will. Lets shade the numbers red and show you how far above the record will be. But concord, its kind of easy to break records and because of the historical logs will only go back to the 90s. They fall more than concord, its because they dont go back that far. And of course, the big pattern showing up. Let me get you into the seven day forecast. Tuesday will still be warm, pretty nice, then we will get back down into the mid60s. Its the wind tonight and tomorrow morning and after that it will be smooth sailly and rainless. Lets get some bright spots with everything going on, we told you about a lockdown coming our way. We want to share it, this is from ours as we want to thank them as it looks like the season. The rams, they went 3828, and they are 84. Seahawks with d. K. Metcalf bullying the giants defenders. But new york ended up doing most of the bullying. Third quarter, giants led, tried up for some magic. And downtown, but its knocked down by new york as they win, now tied with the rams for first place in that nfc west. Just half a game back in that west and meaning if they win tomorrow, they will tie them in that spot. Taking on washington in their temporary home of las vegas.
