They found a trail of blood in this pedestrian walkway between kentucky and keller streets. But so far it hasnt led them to a killer. At about 1 45 sunday morning, Petaluma Police arrived at the golden concourse, the pedestrian friendly cut through in the Downtown Business district. They found two men in their 20s who had been stabbed. One only had minor injuries, but the other one ended up dying in a santa rosa trauma center. Its usually pretty peaceful. I dont have any problems at all. I do have to say that on the weekends it gets pretty rowdy because theres a lot of bars around town. The attack happened right around the time bars and clubs were closing for the night, so its possible alcohol was involved. I worry for my safety, yes. Police arent sure where the trouble started though whether it was inside somewhere, or on the street. But they did find evidence on the sidewalk. We found a blood trail we think is from the suspect that led us to the garage. The trail ended inside the keller Street Parking garage, but police dont know if the suspect got in a car, or took off running in another direction. Some people who saw investigators cleaning the blood up sunday morning say there were also evidence markers in telephone alley, which intersects the walkway.
