Rescue operations continue after a 7pointone magnitude earthquake kills more than 200 people in mexico city. One person is dead after a fire inside an Apartment Building in oakland. It happened around 4 this morning on fairmount avenue. The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the four story building. Firefighters found one person outside the unit where the fire started. The judge has temporarily halted the president s order against the city of San Francisco and Santa Clara County who both have filed lawsuits against the administration. The judge is rejecting the argument that the executive order only applies to small amounts of money. He also says the president cannot set new conditions on spending approved by congress. James Fremont police have reopened a cold case 35 years after a woman was murdered in hopes of finally finding whoever is repsonsible. Kathy ann miramontes was found on chase court in the niles disrict of fremont on march 8th, 1982. Her body showed signs of extreme trauma. It was quickly deterimed to be a homicide. Now miramontes son has encouraged fremont pd to reopen the case. Reinterviewing witnesses and resending evidence to the lab for dna testing. Dna was discovered. Though no match was found. james James Fremont police say even a small nugget of information could turn things around. Miramontes was 25 years old at the time of her killing. darya many people are upset this morning about the San Francisco Police Departments push to arm officers with tasers. Community members gathered last night to express their concerns. The Community Input session was meant to help determine the policy surrounding the use of tasers if they are approved.
