Santa cruz county has been doing well in recent months, keeping the numbers as low as possible. If nothing changes then on we will go into further measures to reduce the spread of covid in the community and that comes in the form of orders from the state to close certain sectors so that will include gyms personal services Worship Services and things like that same thing about 90 of the rest of the state has already gone into so it will probably be around wednesday or thursday before those measures go into place. We go where traffic remains busy and heavy from the east bay to the peninsula, but no major hot spots so monday everybody good morning welcome back to the kron 00 04am morning news, lets go ahead get a check of the fed forecast with dave spahr dave got the usual fog at golden gate bridge. Yeah, good morning morning, good morning, everybody and it seems become for ing the 2 towers 2 pretty nicely the very bottom is showing sfo no delays but still we have these fog clouds. Covering up the hills to the distance there Temperature Movement not really too much yet even inland 64 for antioch and we are sorry yeah, can 62 for san jose, elsewhere were in the 50s you can see so we havent moved yet. The players are much the same and what were toying is waiting for this front to drop south. But not a major deal, but its going to correct our temperatures bring him down in the upper 80s that will be wednesday thursday, but this thing is taking its sweet time youre taking the scenic route i take it. So heres what happens on the home front here for today at least we have the fog clears afternoon showers fire up all comes back again for tonight very typical but we dont have the flareup of showers going on the sierra tomorrow. Thats as the front gets a little closer in the weather pattern starts to change will still probably see some lower 90s going on tomorrow but then the 80s start to kick in for the middle of the week another factor which kind of nice about this here the winds get kind of breezy in spots but it helps keep temperatures a little suppressed from what they could be if we didnt have that thats were seeing in the Central Valley it could be quite warm today, triple digits expected there today. So heres what we got going on morning fog and clouds sunny and warm in the afternoon, a midweek with that front getting here that we talked about well drop off in the upper 80s a little bit and then by this weekend we snapped back to more of that flavor of summer as end of july, so its a somewhat typical well get to this early august in fact, 66 for San Francisco, 73 oakland. 83 san jose across the wider real estate we do have some lower 90s hanging on today 93 any off at 91 going on for concord 82 for napa by comparison with 85 santa rosa. Blake wheeler chilly 6783 for san jose, of course a closer inspection of that the 4 zone forecast well be checking into as well as that extended and douglas out in a white or rather whats going on with area traffic. Traffic remains a trouble free on our bridges in fact, its looking a little bit better on 18 to San Francisco. The last time we checked it was backed up to west grand now its often on mitt lot maybe sometimes stretching on to the 80 overcrossing but this is considered an improvement so it doesnt look like its going to last much longer overall under 15 minutes into San Francisco over to 92 busy but not bad, its been crowded since the 4 oclock hour. But still nothing major going on on the nimitz through hayward or san leandro and its a quick trip across the span over to the peninsula marty. Thank you.
