If that school like the one behind me Sherman School in San Francisco is in a county such as San Francisco that is on the governors watch list. Then they may they need to jump through a few more hoops they need to talk to parents need to talk to the community and then to see if this is truly a good idea and then after that while theyre filling out the waiver theres a lot they need to do take a look at your school you can see the requirements while filling out the waiver to reopen Elementary Schools, you can see theyre going to have to make sure they develop plans for health screenings. Contact tracing physical distancing testing. Plus screen plans to switch back to Distance Learning say if an outbreak occurs. You know hopefully that doesnt happen but if they fall all those guidelines but then the state well review and decide lastly if Elementary School should reopen with in person classes. The state also gave an update on new sports banning all outdoor and indoor events were social distancing just can not be done say for example i would assume. Football or soccer we have to get super close share of ball and you cant keep that distance even if doing a mass they do want people to keep 6 feet of distance is kids when theyre playing sports. Now to the south bay this morning Santa Clara County has also seen an increase in covid19 cases it had been taken off the state covid watch list but was put back on the list just a couple of weeks ago, and just last week 31 workers at Santa Clara CountyCostco Stores were found to have the virus county officials are warning everyone to take precautions. You know were starting to see we have seen that mass or a big deterrent for. Spread of covid19 so social distant protocols, a really key for preventing the spread. Covid especially when in the workplace. So the county is now working on Contact Tracing to see who else may have been exposed to those costco workers. Well happening today in San Mateo County supervisor will be introducing an ordinance that would find people who violate covid19 Health Orders. This includes not wearing a Face Covering in public currently people who violate the health order could be punished with a misdemeanor with fines up to 1000 and potential jail sentence of up to 90 days. But under the new ordinance people could be fined between 100 to 500 for each violation. This is owners could also be fine San Mateo County was the last of bay area county to be added to the states covid19 watch list. And for renters in San Francisco, a superior court judge is upholding the citys ban on evictions during the coronavirus pandemic Landlord Group sued the city back in june calling the law unconstitutional overreach kron fours dan thorn reports. Providing equitable access to the internet not only supports learning.
