Well take a live look outside now as we head into our weather and get a sense of whats going on tonight looking out over. The embarcadero in San Francisco you can see the bay bridge and it looks like haze and fog still in the air yeah, but a lot easier breeds, pam and a lot of parts of the bay area Lawrence Karnow here with a look at the fire conditions out there on the ad really improved the last couple of days. Weve had that on shore flow that brought up the humidity the winds get breezy in the afternoon but nothing too strong in fact were still seeing that breeze out there right now in around some of the fires you see here to 1617 Miles Per Hour at aultman past certainly going to see some breezy conditions but diminishing overnight tonight, not so much in the north bay, the winds up a little bit early on but now start to calm down a little bit the 5 Miles Per Hour atlas peak. And as we take you back toward the coastline. You head toward the Santa Cruz County also San Mateo County in the winds really have not been an issue over the last few hours those winds very light out there right now in the humidity on the way up the fog rolling back in the certainly chance a little more drizzle along the coastline and in the north bay right near point reyes youve got this fire continuing to burn here but the winds not all that strong today that will help out the firefighters of course that fog will help out as well now you see that on shore push that brings with it that nice moist air right off the ocean waters in fact its already on the way tonight sewers at San Francisco, 74 right now in concord but overnight tonight that will be on the increase the surge of that moisture going to head well inland so were talking 80 97 in some places so certainly a nice touch of the low clouds and fog but a little less than weve had in the last couple of days highpressure started compressed things a little bit by tomorrow afternoon you start to dry out a little bit more so yeah weve had some great fire of fighting condition, but you can even see right now from this live shot. The marine layer that have been already all over the burke top of the Berkeley Hills tonight has been compressed you sit down below here. So fog inside the bay but not getting that fog and some of the place where the fire is continuing to burn in other spots temperatures today they backed off a bit now wasnt bad at all 64 degrees in San Francisco, 70 degrees in oakland 78. In san jose 87 degrees right at the average in livermore 85 degrees in concord and 80 degrees in santa rosa. Air quality, everybodys been talking about it and certainly its been terrible over this past week but today just like yesterday more of a breath of fresh air that nice seabreeze have brought that nice fresh air well inland even places like the tri valley where they really been suffering with some very poor air quality now thats going to change a bit over the next couple days as long these fires are burning the winds certainly now thats going to really be a big issue with us some of that smoke outside so expect times where you see the poorer quality, especially late night Early Morning before the sea breeze picks up should be good along the coastline, moderate amount of blues building up in the east bay still a spare the air day again for tomorrow the south bay expecting some very poor air quality well have more on your weekend forecast and your longrange forecaster told him is coming up in a few minutes. Lawrence thank you. But i dont agree with the district seen especially for places like whole foods. The hope was lot of people dont know this whole foods in particular. They food drives the churches and they give out a lot of hits the community unlikely that another in 4 might not much has personally but my of my Family Member they theyre part of it as i feel like that was you know. A downside. The owners of a newly opened Small Business called mud lab cafe who are navigating a pandemic also suffered from the vandalism wednesday night. Its hard to tell whats going on in the Community Based on the actions of just a few people. We we had the windows smashed and they could have easily been smashed pay just one person right, but we are hopeful that the purchase kind of change direction and that this doesnt happen again because. It is its destructive to business to lose a day just for grateful that nothing was taken and that no one was here and injured everything happened and were really grateful for the Community Around us that theyve really kind of.
