And you know we need to keep on doing what were doing in just the last 24 hours california saw just under 4200 new cases. In the last 2 weeks the state has been averaging around 5,000 new cases a day. Its a big difference from just 14 days ago when the average was around 10,000. Deaths also appear to be stabilizing at around 120 to 130 on average for the past 2 weeks. Doctor George Rutherford<\/a> with ucsf says the trend is also being seen here in the bay area. The number of cases in the 9 counties have dropped by more than 20 in each. He says while the news is good were still not in the clear just yet obvious transmission still going on.
