Well jonathan the Napa County Sheriffs Department says during last monday nights traffic stop garcia would not listen to their commands was aggressively approaching the deputy with his hand behind his back forcing this deputy to shoot however after the shooting garcia was not found with a weapon on him and now his friends and family are hoping a vigil in a rally that they held today in napa will shine a light on what theyre calling an unnecessary killing by police. Her group is calling for more transparency from the Napa County Sheriffs Department over garcias death. In addition to that venue change the motions also include a gag order to prevent the parties from talking about the case in the media and dismissing certain charges in the federal lawsuit. Monterrosa you may remember was shot and killed by the legal officer jarrett and back on june 2nd. Monterrosa was on his knees with his hands raised as police were investigating a call. The man has been identified as 19 yearold Terrell Atkinson hes currently on probation for assault with a deadly weapon. Regardless if you turn one in it will be flagged in the event someone attempts to vote twice you want to make sure that 2 ballots are not counted for one voter and so thats why the process is set up like it is to avoid that first ballot when the second ballot is generally heidi loop was already concerned about fraud potentially tainting this election. If there is any good news with this i want to point out that most of this damage that youre taking a look at right now all these debris piles things like that that was caused by hurricane laura. Yes, there was some damage with hurricane delta yesterday were talking about snapped power poles things like that and maybe some tarps blown off of roofs, but a lot of homeowners have been out here today pending those tarps back down on those roofs. But again if there is any good news out of this particular system yesterday it does not appear to have caused as much damage or extra should say across the lake charles area.
