According to data from aaa, the National Average for a gallon of regular gas hit a year high of 3 and 0. 82. And theres some good news in all of this. The price hikes have actually started to level off and a decrease could be on the way. But that all depends on this years hurricane season. Gas prices in california are a lot higher, though, as we know the state average of 5 and 0. 7 a gallon in the bay area. Its a little bit more than that. You can see drivers are paying a couple pennies. More in San Francisco 509, san jose. Your average is 4. 98. Right now. Oakland, 504, and santa rosa, 5. 12. So depending on where you are, youre either a little a little below the state average. Okay. So thats a problem. But today, you might want to crank it up a little bit. Were definitely looking at sunshine out there in full force already. Looking out there, San Francisco from mount tam, you can see theres no fog whatsoever in sight. Feel like these nice bright mornings. Will todays savor it . Because tomorrow morning were going to return that marine layer is a High Pressure. Ridge really reduces its influence in some cooler air pushes in from the north and west, really keeping things nice and mild and seasonable for the rest of the week after today. With that, we will see the increase of the sea breeze, not getting much of that ocean cool there today with these Crystal Clear skies. But towards the evening tonight, well start to see fog pushing up against the coastline and then diving into the bay this evening. Tomorrow morning, youre going to wake up to the grey, the mist, the drizzle much like we saw last week. So were right back down to that cooler foggier stuff that is fairly seasonable for this time of year 60s and 70s for sf today. 60s at the coast gaurd just morning in these spots, its going to be another scorcher elsewhere, 80s to 90s for most of our daytime highs, redwood city, 88 san jose. 91 today and some near triple digits for livermore. San ramon in concord, while oakland, berkeley and richmond, a little more comfortable comparatively in the 70s, antioch are only spot getting up to 100, although vacaville very close at 99. Santa rosa through center fell in the low 90s tomorrow through saturday, a trend of mild and average weather 70s 80s for your highs. Little bit of fog during your mornings and peaks of sunshine. After that point. Exactly where we should be come next sunday. Thats our first sign of 90s. Returning to the forecast. But in the meantime, a little break from the heat again, rain. All right, john, thank you for that. We a little break. And we can also use a break over in the east bay, traveling along there like 8. 80, right now, nearly 40 minutes. Im seeing a lot of rent there. Southbound 6. 80, traveling, an old traffic also building the bay bridge, looking much better of a drive times are still 20 minutes. So the meeting lights are off a lever traveling along the bridge. Its a little slower. No major delays along our san mateo bridge. 14 minutes, 81 on one south bay. 1, looking at you about 43 minutes. 85 up to menlo park. So 2, 80 82 better alternate specially this time travel along 80 cracking down towards the maze, solid 30 minute ride pablo avenue. Also a good alternate to get around that delay. Daria days. Back to you. Thank nate. 17 Governor Newsom designated south San Francisco. Rohnert park and santa cruz has pro Housing Communities that makes them eligible for additional funding and resources to build more low income housing. The movement is in response to the states severe housing shortage, which is only expected to get worse as our population is expected to grow by 10 million by the year 2050.
