Now overall looks like things of worked out, ok, the weve son seeing some fresh air around the bay area lately as we have more of an onshore bush with these fires continuing to burn. The concern is, is that were going to see more issues with smoke. Once that wind changed directions, temperature wise, really not that big of an issue. As far as temperatures. You can be blazing hot this time of year. These are the forecast high temperatures for tomorrow there in the 50s and 60s and much of Northern California<\/a> and also in oregon. So that should help us slow down the fires a little bit and help the firefighters out. But a long way to go. Weve got High Pressure<\/a> thats going to be building in the coming days and these temperatures by next weekend, probably in the 80s and 90s. There air quality wise around the bay area. Youve got some patchy fog out there. A little hazy around the bay area today. Overall, though, this what we want to see, were all in the green right now. And that some good news as were going to continue to see that nice, fresh ocean air. Now, we may see a little shop of a northerly wind overnight tonight that may pick up a little bit of smoke. So i think maybe in the north bay, you start to get a little hazy again by tomorrow and along the coastline, though youre looking good east bay, south bay, you are all looking good. Probably going to see some patchy fog linger up toward the beaches. But overall, a building ridge of High Pressure<\/a>. I think as go through the week now, as were going to see those temperatures warming up by this next weekend, hate back in the upper 80s. Maybe couple low 90s. So nice weather ahead. Looks like a pretty nice pattern setting itself we do have that patchy fog out there. But were getting late in the season now. And so youre not seeing those 2 fog major, see more broken clouds around the bay area. Got 60 degrees right now in sonoma. 64 degrees. Mostly clear and blatant 61 right now in dublin, the sea breeze. Yeah. Been picking up pretty strong this afternoon. We have some gusts over 30 miles an hour in the San Francisco<\/a>. It has backed off just a little bit now, but still overall, that sea breeze going to carry that fog back on shore. Kind of interesting pattern. You know, we talked about the storms through a nevada causing some issues there, trough of low pressure, kind of sitting along the west coast thats allowed. The system is the kind of roll through. Were going to see one more kind of roll over top of that ridge out the pacific. And that will keep temperatures down for at least another day. But after that, boy, its really going to start to warm up and back tomorrow, the temperatures probably cooling temperatures go mainly in the 60s. But over the next couple days, High Pressure<\/a> starts to build in. Here we go. We watch those temperatures marching up by late the weekend about that. Some 90s popping up on sunday into monday. No major heat wave on the horizon. Thats a good news. So were not going revisit those triple digit temperatures, but its going feel like summer again in the next week. Very interesting. When can we expect things to start feeling like fall . Well, thats the other thing. Yeah, were going to watch these temperatures cooling down. Body do hes going tell harwell started off his musical careers in san jose with a rap group called f o s or freedom of speech. But by 1994, harlow was ready for a new band and a new sound along with fellow san jose native kevin coleman. They took on the name smash mouth experimenting with jazz, punk and reggae inspired. Sounds. The band began picking up gigs and trying to get their songs played on the radio. His friends say it was hard wells energy for better and worse. That made the band a success him and his band. Was fun and energetic. And, you know, people had fun dancing to it. So he was able to. Take a of, you know, positive energy as well as you know, some of his negative energy and release you know it on stage and try to create a a great show for his fans. Their first breakthrough came on koam me in san jose. Back when now today show host carson daly was a dj daily. Remembering on instagram today saying, quote, the band was new unsigned and only had an e p out in an attempt to help support our local band and new party pals. We played their song nervous in the alley 1 billion times. Things started really happening for them from there. The band got signed and released its first album, but it was the second album that would launch smash mouth into the stratosphere. Shop issue. Allstar became a pop culture phenomenon for a while and seemed to be in every movie. It was the first song on the first kidz bop album and in the decades since its release became the subject of countless memes and parodies, while things were looking up for the band, harwell was dealing with hardships in 2001, his son died from leukemia at just 6 months old. He also struggled with alcoholism. He would later be diagnosed with heart and nervous disorders as a result of his drinking. And later, chronic liver failure, which would be the cause of his death, shared some of the challenges that he had witnessed. Can obviously read it in in media. And, you know, lot of his close friend. And you know, we did everything we could do to help them. But, you know, he truly lived that rock star life and he knew the stay was going to in. And you just up to. Didnt know how you would react. And this is reacting. Harwell left smash mouth in twentytwenty want focus on his health. The band continued on without him, but his spirit and songs continue to inspire and empower people.
