It is the biggest game of the year certainly for the fortyniners and really for the league. A lot of people paying attention to this as we know the warriors, should say niners and the cowboys have met up in the last 2 years and niners have won in each of those. So weve got the momentum. But it was a close game last time they met in january, brock purdy talked about that a little bit. And well hear from him later all right. Lets talk warriors, Golden State Warriors. Are back in action at the chase center hosting the la lakers. Its just their first preseason game. They have 5 preseason games for the warriors and the regular season. Then tips off october 24th when the warriors will be hosting thepphoenix suns. All right. On that note, lets find out about the forecast for this weekend. We saw will out there live for fleet week. Weve been talking about the niners playing this weekend on sunday night unite and make it fun edges for staying away from the heat is like what are you out . Real thing . Know, like no, i wasnt i was a working in the heat yesterday. I stayed in thats where we all need do in case like this. Absolutely. I dont care what it is. It as they see that your spot this afternoon for at least a few minutes targets. Costco, maybe grocery out all the places just get in there, regulate body temperature a little bit. Maybe a good afternoon for a movie, too. Obviously, it is a nice one to get outside. Maybe a dip, the toes in the water out there along the coast. Were all going to be high, especially at the embarcadero. So many people coming down to francisco for fleet week activities. Find some shade, bring plenty of water and just get out there. Fully prepared for the heat. High pressure ridge built up to the north and west, still ushering in this offshore wind that stopping any coastal air from pushing into the bay. That all changes, though, a series of low pressure areas dropping in from the Pacific Northwest making their way into the bay next week and making temperatures feel just like fall all over again. In the meantime, feels like the middle of summer. I mean, this is the bay area summer fall is when we truly warmup. And that is true this week we will see this offshore wind keeping ocean cool. Theyre away from us both today and tomorrow. So no fog. Either day. We do see it returning, though, into sunday that cool ocean breeze picks back up. So were replacing and northeasterly wind pushing against the coast with a westerly wind pushing back towards the coast by sunday. That means daytime highs at the coastal fall from the 90s to just the 60s by the finish to the weekend. Today into tomorrow, though, before that happens, we have heat advisories from San Francisco, the bay shore down to the south bay and the santa cruz mountains. These will remain through tomorrow night. And a lot of these spots. You dont have ac because youre not used to that so much like San Francisco. Were all along the embarcadero. We can expect some 90s today. 80s to 90s along the coastline as well as along the bay shore, just as hot as yesterday for many areas in some of us along the bayshore actually going to be hotter, then inland areas, sunnyvale and hayward at 95. While livermore on the at 94 degrees, oakland conquered in danville, as well as antioch, all the same temperature at 90 degrees. Not often. You can see the similar temperatures at the coast as our inland areas will see. Now tomorrow, just as hot as today inland, little cooler towards the coastline. We really cool off into sunday, though. Thats when that ocean cool. There really does its job and cools us into the 60s up the coast by monday, colder air arrives and only in the 70s that are very warmest anywhere showers arriving along with that cool down rain. All right, john, the really is looking great there. Hey, and the traffics looking even better. Look at this 11 minutes traveling into the city right now. No hazards. Delays and the meter lights are off mateo bridge about 12 minutes there. 80 to 101 looks like starting to a little work there on the side of the bridge. But thats not slowing folks down or it was over phil ridge about 9 minutes. Maybe youre taking bart. They encourage you to do that. If youre going to be heading to the city today or Public Transportation because of traffic, things are looking good at this hour. Long barred as well. 21 minutes, 37 to the tolls and checking on our highways for you 101, under 30 minutes. 85 to menlo park. All right. James, back to you.
