Im noelle bellow and im grant lotus. It is another case of a local mail carrier being robbed. The latest incident happened in dublin kron fours. Sara stinson reports. Home Security Camera captures the terrifying moment. A mail carrier in dublin was robbed at gunpoint. This happened monday afternoon around 4. 30, on a bespoke court video shows 2 masked men wearing all black approached the male woman. One point a gun at her dublin. Police say the men demanded the carriers mailbox key and phone. You can see her go to the usps truck to get her phone and handed over. Then the 2 men run off. Thankfully, the male woman was not physically injured. I went down to culdesac. Probably within 10 or 15 minutes after happen after seeing police in his neighborhood, mike grant went down to check it out. Once he learned about the robbery, grant went to check his highquality Security Camera system to see if it captured anything useful. Thats when he saw what he believes to be the getaway car narrowed it down to this. A blue grants as police and the u. S. Postal inspectors. Investigators came by to get the video. Hes lived in this dublin neighborhood for nearly 30 years and says only recently has there been a spike in crime and its not just staying isolated in the oakland sundown towns for the, you know, vandalism or breakins of grant says hes been talking with neighbors about ways to protect their homes, to start putting some cameras up to help. They found 13 pounds of the deadly drug inside a san jose home under a babys crib. Authorities say they raided the home yesterday and found 25,000 fentanyl pills in a backpack. Officers say they also found marijuana just a few feet away from the babys playpen and cocaine right next to the babys formula in the kitchen. The man accused of attempting to kill his family by driving off a cliff in San Mateo County will have a final hearing and a Mental Health Diversion Court case hinges on what kind of Mental Health crisis divert patel was suffering from when he drove off highway one in january of last year. Oakland International Airport has a new name and a new legal battle. Port commissioners unanimously approved the rebrand to call the airport San Francisco bay oakland International Airport. San Francisco City attorney david chiu has already sued on behalf of the city. And on wednesday he sent a letter to the port of oakland urging them to reconsider and instead have both maybe oakland and San Francisco Work Together to come up with an alternative name. But the port of oakland moved ahead with their plans and they say that theyll also have a response to San Franciscos lawsuit. There are now 2 bay area airports with the name San Francisco in their title. A unanimous vote by the oakland port board thursday approved the switch from oakland International Airport. To San Francisco bay oakland International Airport. Nobody owns the San Francisco bay and it is the most identify identifiable geographic indicator. Barts future may depend on the tax measure that is set to be on the ballot in 2026, according to barts, new budget deficit numbers, the Transit Agency will be facing a 35 Million Dollar deficit by 2026. If passed, the tax measure would bring in more than a billion dollars every year for bart. But if it fails, bart is warning it is going to have to make some drastic cuts. The federal Transit Administration is investing 500 Million Dollars to fund the bart Silicon Valley extension project that would extend bart service by 6 miles from the Berryessa Transit Center into downtown san jose with an underground tunnel all the way to santa clara. The project will cost about 12 billion dollars. Half of that is coming from federal programs. The other half is coming from state and local money.
