That storm is expected to be a category 2 storm which should make land fall saturday, the same way we are expecting irma to impact miami. Clearly, mexican authorities will have their hands full trying to handle a hurricane 2 on this side the country and an earthquake on the other side. We have trying to see what the developments are in guatemala. You can so that epicenter was right off the coast, very close to the junction between guatemala and mexico. Surely, there is some damage in guatemala as well. We are waiting for reports to start coming in from those countries to get a chance of how big the earthquake impacted them as well. A veteran oakland fire captain is facing charges of child pornography. 58yearold richard chu is accused of possession and distributing hundreds of images. He made a Court Appearance in martinez yesterday. Chu sent nearly 80 images to undercover deputies. Deputy sers offed a search warrant at his home in lafayette and at the fire station where he works. That storm has been downgraded to a category 4. Thats still very strong, Strong Enough to potentially become one of the worst natural disasters in u. S. History. More than a Million People in southern florida have been ordered to leave. We have seen the huge traffic jams. The storm has caused at least 16 deaths and widespread damage in it the caribbeans. Wind beginning to pick up here taking a look at the observation from south florida from miami to marathon and key west. Marathon looks to be what i would focus on and certainly miami as well. But the track takes it right into South Central florida and right up central florida. Winds were at 125, now only at 150. Some outer bands may have weakened because of the interaction with cuba.
