Population and then death wise, maybe about 30,000, 3000 to 48,000, people actually died from it. What aversion do people have to getting the vaccination . So, yes, i mean, number one it hurts, you is a sore arm. Some people feel like they get sick from the flu vaccination, it is actually not true. If you compare the flu shot to a shoot of water, when people have the fevers, it is probably not have the vaccination. So it is safe. I dont know, i mean what do you guys think . I am on the same page. I am going to set get sick because i get the shot. Watch it, in three days i am going to get sick. And obviously it is a mental thing. But once you get the shot, though, it does not really kick in for a couple of weeks. There is a time delay. I mean you are getting parts of the virus and then your body makes antibodies to it and building up immunity. And now you put it out out there, the flu shot in terms of being effective is a little less than 50 , i think last year was about 48 . How does that make you feel. Terrible odds. Right. You are not even faulking about 50even talking about 50 . Well, i will tell you why i have not got and flu shot, actually, i had it when i was pregnant because i was responsible and now that i am not pregnant anymore, the roll the dice. There have been years whether the flu shot works much less than 50 , really kind of down years. So that eroded some of my trust. Secondly, when i dont get the flu shot, i dont always get the flu. Help me out with this thinking. Yes, so, i looked up the numbers, last year, 42 effective. And then there is that 19 , the one where you are like great. So it is not perfect. I look at the other side of it, too, and you mentioned this before, half of the u. S. Population, about 50 of us get it, which is better than what i thought. Think about if more people got it. And there is other stuff that i looked up, the flu shot prevents about 3000 deaths per year. If we all get it, then it is not going to be spread around as much. So if 50 of us are getting it, and it is saving, you know p thousand lives and then more people, we would not get sick or die from it. That is kind of what makes me want to come out here and talk about this. The greater good. And i got it when i was pregnant both times to protect the baby. There are specific population where is you really do need to get it, pregnant women being one of them. Yes, the young, pregnant, and then the old, or if you have chronic, especially lung or heart disease. And are there higher doses . There are increased doses and they may do that, i am not sure. And what is with the nasal . No nasal 24 this year. Justnasal this year. Just get the shot. It didnt work as well. Yes, it was not very effective. Maybe we will get the flu shots and go around the station. I am there. I get it every year. Sounds fun. I will tell you, my little boys go to an Elementary School and they get their flu shots at school, you have to opt out of it. And do they ask you why you dont get it . I dont know that they know. It is named after the city of winnipeg, in the prairie, but the crew makes visits, and their mascot is the buffalo. It is 440 feet long. 50 feet wide, and it is fully equipped as a battleship with weapons on board. It can go 30 knots at full speed and when we get to that speed, you know it. I dont know if anyone has ever experienced that, but when this ship comes under helm, or hard helm at high speed, you and i would be standing almost at a 30degree angle trying to stay up right.
