Chief meterologist bill martin is here to tell us about the wet weather thats moving into the bay area. A little bit of wet weather to talk about just in time for the weekend and really just in time for november. We have weather thats going to go from whats been pretty nice, plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures, to, you know, cooler, cloudy, a little wet on the commute tomorrow morning. Not a lot but a little bit. Temperatures today 60s for the most part. Temperatures tomorrow, hm, mid to low60s for the most part. Beautiful night. Thats san jose. That is san jose, isnt it, ken . Yeah. Its just a different angle because they are shooting west on that looking towards palo alto, i guess. Beautiful. Boy, that really is pretty. Thanks for getting me that shot. That shows, um, it shows, you know, the the texture of the atmosphere how the clouds are moving in and rain is on the way. When you see clouds like that it looks like winter. So santa rosa tomorrow morning and then tomorrow into saturday rning youre going to go under a half inch of rain. But you will see a little bit more on sunday night. The forecast for the next couple of days you will see the rain kind of increase especially on saturday. Im going through the time here. Theres saturday morning and then theres saturday afternoon. So for the most part, how much explain it quarter inch. This thing is not well organized at our latitude. But as it moves towards at our longitude. As it move more towards the Sierra Nevada it will organize. Theres two parts to the system. Theres the dynamics up here, which will hook up with some tropical moisture from here. And it will really do a number on there. So we are looking at maybe 2 to 3 feet of snow up in the lake tahoe area which would be fine, right . Because thats really where you want the rain anyway. We say, oh San Francisco gets certain amount of rain a year. Thats important. 20 inches or so. But ill tell you, you could get just ten inches of rain in San Francisco but if you get, you know, over your percent of average in the Sierra Nevada as snow, thats a much better thing because that runs off into the surface reservoirs into the aquifers which equates to our summertime water. I hope that makes sense. Thats the idea. We are going to look at temperatures. Tomorrow morning in the 50s that. Has to do with the cloud cover. Heres tomorrow morning. See what im talking about its widely scattered. Tomorrow afternoon widely scattered. Thats the main event saturday morning. So really overnight friday into saturday morning. And then watch this. See ya, gone by lunchtime on saturday its a distance the memory. Saturday to sunday evening we get a nice little break. Well see that here. So here comes system number one albeit weak. And then as that slides through, we get a break until we get into we get a break from saturday afternoon through sunday midmorning. So not too bad. So theres your dry period. Your little shower activity here on sunday. And then forecast highs 60s. And then fiveday forecast recast fire season a distant memory. Good news. Accused of obstructing justice to theat the fbinuclear war, and of violating the constitution by taking money from foreign governments and threatening to shut down news organizations that report the truth. If that isnt a case for impeaching and removing a dangerous president , then what has our government become . Im tom steyer, and like you, im a citizen who knows its up to us to do something. Its why im funding this effort to raise our voices together and demand that elected officials take a stand on impeachment. A Republican Congress once impeached a president for far less. Yet today people in congress and his own administration know that this president is a clear and present danger whos mentally unstable and armed with nuclear weapons. And they do nothing. Join us and tell your member of congress that they have a moral responsibility to stop doing whats political and start doing whats right. Our country depends on it. Mark has sports. It sounds more like a medical casualty report than a sportscast. Remember when we used to shoot the show mash all the time . This is the deal. You know, what the ramifications might be with regard to this news concerning the 49ers, it may be a while before we see jimmy g. Jimmy garoppolo at quarterback for the 49ers. Because think about. He has a beatup offensive line and now probably the best receiver he had to throw to is out for the season. It happened on this play in philadelphia last sunday. Pierre garcon will be out for the year what in medical terms is called a nondisplaced fracture of the c5 pedicle. Thats a small piece of bone in the neck just below the skull. Usually takes about 8 weeks to heal. There are 8 games left in the season. Nothing riding on anything concerning the playffs, et cetera. Why would you throw Jimmy Garoppolo out there with so ma injuries . Well wait to see what happens. In the meantime, the team of 49ers will be playing this year the team the 49ers will be playing this weekend in search of the first win this year, they too have injuries, Carson Palmer is out as he sustained a broken arm last week in london. He will be replaced by drew stanton who is a 33yearold career backup. He has been hanging around in the nfl for 10 years doing this coming in and taking care of things and, in fact, he was very good as the Arizona Cardinals beat the 9ers last year. By the way, Blaine Gabbert will be his backup, the third quarterback for the cardinals. The coach of arizona faith in the veteran. He makes plays to win games. You know . He doesnt beat you. You know . Some people call that a game manager. I call it a quarterback. Thats the beauty. He lets you tailor it to what you want. We go into the saturday night meetings with the quarterback and you have freedom. He has a lot of trust. So to be able to do that, im definitely going to feel more comfortable moving forward and getting this offense in the right direction. A kick out of the arizona coach earthquaked have been hanging out in north beach in 1968. Thats a bookstore over there. Meantime, i told you about the injuries. Another one. This is devastating. Because Deshaun Watson after his great championship game in college came in and took over the texans quarterback job and now he is out for the year. Just having a breakout season as a rookie with the texans. He tore an acl in practice. He tore up his right knee. It will be season ending surgery for him. Dont think about signing kaepernick as his replacement. Thats not going to happen because the texans have already announced they are signing matt mcgloin who was derek carrs backup last year. Its like Revolving Doors in the nfl with these quarterbacks. So Deshaun Watson out for the year. Matt mcgloin, in for the texans. Another quarterback, still andrew luck, he will be out as he had off season shoulder surgery. He hasnt come around. The colts are 26 so why risk it there . Andrew luck will be out, as well. Meantime, theres some other news besides injuries. Warriors in business tonight against san antonio. Leonard wont play. Then its on. Look at the spurs take it to the warriors as danny green knocks steph over. No call there. He goes on to dunk it and the spurs came out ready to play as they build up a big lead. Thats saint marys product mills with the outside three. Warriors down by 19 and it looked like it was about ready to get worse. Check this out. Come out lumping. Okay went to the locker room he is back in the game. I mentioned the words were down by as many as 19. They are now leading by a couple of points in the second half. Thats the could be could have been worse. Thanks for joining us. What if Home Security was different . What if it looked different . What if the measure of working, was that you never had to think about it. What if it was so easy to use, you actually used it. [alarm] you have 3 minutes to exit. What if it gave you time, and what you really need from Home Security. A sense of security. Leonard, ive been working on an opening joke for our lecture at berkeley. Oh, i like to laugh. But say it anyway. Okay, um. What do you say to a graduate of the Uc Berkeley Physics Department .
