Warm on the coast. 70s for summer. 60s for some. 97 in calistoga. You can see some of the moisture. The monsoon is in full swing in arizona, Southern California, nevada, even tahoe. Circulation around the high public in the moisture. 60s and 70s, 80s, and 90s. What you have on your plate for us . I have the bay bridge. Today there is a daytime baseball game and the bay bridge will be crowded all day long. It has been crowded since about 5 00 this morning. I expect this to continue all day. It will then turn around and leave San Francisco later after the game and its going to be very, very slow. Plan accordingly. If you can, take a train or ferry into San Francisco. Thats the best way. Thats a way im going to do it , because im going to that game today. You will probably see me on a train or ferry. This is interstate 880. Southbound a little bit slow. Chp is still out there. The questions have been taking a political and partisan tone. Thats probably why you hear the raised voices. All the while, mueller has been very calm during this 90 minutes of testimony so far. We have heard mueller say many times responses like i will let my report answer that or i will defer to what the report says. Any question that tries to get him to elaborate work to get an opinion. Before the questioning began mueller gave a brief Opening Statement but he emphasized what his reports did clearly conclude, that the russian government interfered in our 2016 election but something he says he and every american should continue to be concerned about. Miller is going to be testifying for a total of three hours before this committee. Committee will focus on the question of obstruction of justice and whether President Trump committed a crime trying to stop muellers investigation. Mueller said again what was artie stated in his report, that the president was not exonerated of any crime, but there was not sufficient evidence against him but mueller also confirmed his interpretation of the department of Justice Policy that said he believed he was prevented from indicting a sitting president. You found evidence as you layout in your report that the president wanted to fire you, because you were investigating him for obstruction of justice. Isnt that correct . Thats what it says in the report. Yes. Stand behind report expect 180 pages. 180 pages about decisions that were reached. About potential crimes that were charged. Or decided. And respectfully, respectfully, by doing that you managed to violate every principal in the most sacred of traditions about prosecutors not offering extra prosecutorial analysis about potential crimes that are charged. , are not charged. Depression has taken some political and partisan turns as democratic members of the Committee Try to highlight the parts of the report about obstruction of justice and public representatives trying to highlight no charges came from the report. There were trying to figure how carmody got a report about the circumstances of her death back in february pick another step in its plan to change the supports polity comes in response to public outcry over the death of a man last year who was shot multiple times with a stun gun. The current policy allows a deputy to use a stun gun when there is, quote, active resistance. The sheriff gave a presentation yesterday on a revised use of force policy at the county board of supervisors meeting. The new language says deputies must feel that the subject is causing immediate physical injury and the suspect should not be shocked more than three times. Some of these changes were made in response to the aclu. We have had a form. There are Community Members that came forth. We have worked with the aclu to create this policy. We have incorporated some of their ideas. The sheriff says he will send a final draft to this policy onto the supervisors at a later date. This is all part of what they are calling operation excellence. Today their training more than 5000 dmv employees across the state in terms of helping them better prepare when the real id applications come in. They are a complex application but the process is very thorough. That is the training taken place this morning. They have artie seen a high demand of people coming in to try to get those real ids as a try to meet the federally mandated deadline of october 2020. People we spoke with this morning say they think this training is a good idea but it is a bit of it inconvenience. I want to be in line so i came early. They are going for training. So its a little bit upset and hard to come back at lunch. This will better equip them to handle the real id transactions, which can be complicated. And better help them, give them the tools to provide excellent Customer Service. In a report by the dmv strike team found overall wait times have decreased by 50 minutes compared to last august along with a drop in customers waiting more than to ours. Some more additions, kiosks will be added to dmv offices and, finally, starting this fall credit cards will finally be accepted as some dmv Office Locations across the state. The commute into and out of San Francisco, because of the giants game, i think we will have lot more people going in the middle of the day. And this afternoon everyone who leaves will be joined by about 30,000 giants fans. I realize not everyone is leaving at the same time, but you will have a substantial number of people coming in for the game and will leave and will make it more crowded. Take the train or the fairy but dont rely on the roads for all of that congestion. 880 is now better that they cleared the accident near hagan berger. 880 s. Of that, hayward to union city is slow.
