, marin county in san raphael, we will continue to follow breaking news and updates you throughout the morning. We have updated numbers on the pg e power shut off here in the bay area, pg e says more than half of the 738,000 customers statewide had power shut off now have power back because the weather is better, the power is back and most of solano, santa clara, contra costa and san mateo county, in alameda and marin county, 80 of our is back. In the wine country, only 59 of napa county as her back, in
Sonoma County
5000 pg customers and country costa county starting with more power, it could take much of the things are slowly getting back to normal for some of the business people. Good morning. Reporter good morning. Some being the operative word, we are on the shopping syria, where the only areas that seem to be opened, customers going inside, we heard from an employee this morning who said during the power shut off they lost a lot of refrigerated items they start to go through that now, over on the other side of the street, starbucks has been pretty busy, the only starbucks in town with power. Contra Costa County
and it has been a frustrating experience for people across the bay area having to get by with no electricity, power to literally shut off by pg e in the name of welfare prevention and a lot of folks had to work with, the most frustrating thing is not knowing exactly when the power would come back on block by block. We were very lucky. Came back out about 8 00 last night. Was very disheartening to see it happen, it is not fair. Very frustrated, we work out of the house, or businesses out of the house. When we do not have power we cannot perform any kind of us miss. So yesterday we were trying to work mobley as much as possible from our sons place in alameda. The city of alameda has not been affected by any of this because they have their own city public utility there. Pg e says they can expect full power restoration around 6 00 this evening because the utility has all its lines check for damage before reenergizing them. Back alive we have seen a couple trucks driving around this morning now that there is daylight. Hopefully workers will start to inspect some of the lines and make sure there is nothing damaged and reenergize them, transportation we should also mention b. A. R. T. Service has not been impacted all during this power shut off and they still have generators going at the tunnel so it can be used as well. Was going to the north bay where pg e says 90 of
Sonoma County
will have power by 11 00 tonight. People and businesses we are talking to say theyre making the best of the difficult situation. A restaurant in santa rosa said it opened even without electricity, the electricity was provided by lanterns and handheld lights. We are trying to improve the stuff we know we can and come tomorrow, the dumpsters will be open. A kind of brought people together even more. They loved it. It is so fun. Working in the dark, so much fun. I love it. 30 intersections in santa rosa had no power because of the senate, service was stored 221 intersections by sundown yesterday. The pg e shut up surround the bay area blamed for cable and internet outages as well, comcast says services are down in parts of 34 counties, frustrating customers. The power may be back on their but some home still have no cable, no internet, no fern service or phone security, comcast says service depends on commercial electric power from pg e, right now there is no word on when it will be done. They will have power on. The reason being is coming from an area where the commercial power is out. Pg e crews are busy trying to reenergize all of the power lines in the comcast crews are working on outages as well, once the power is back, city service will be restored. Closed for safety power shut off, it will be open yesterday, including schools in the oakland and was contra costa

First Time Since 1991 freely allowed to attend a soccer match in the stadium, they saw iran beat cambodia for 20 in the world cup qualifier, the last country to have a ban on women attending matches, afresh to ban the country from international matches, a month after a woman set yourself on fire in protest and a six month jail sentence for sneaking into a game, the authority finally change things. A very important day for us, the first time we are able to enter the stadium. We are very excited finally we have the opportunity to go to the state. An amazing feeling. Are still restrictions in place for female fans, they are only allowed at
International Games and they have to sit 200 yards away from the man, for thousand of the 80,000 seats reserved for women, people say it is still a step in the right direction. Thousands of people across the bay area we take you live to the north bay for the problem many are facing is there waiting for the power to come back on. Oh, so much. I used to think that all kale was alike. Its not. Its not . Mmmm. They look alike. [chuckles] you used to think all eye doctors were alike too. Female narrator choose a vsp private practice doctor with the orange premier banner for advanced technology and personalized attention. A partly cloudy morning, 67 upper 70s to low 80s. 7 33, we will focus now on . The east bay because thats where the busiest traffic is but fortunately things are
Getting Better. I dont think the volume is there today. For example, a 25 minute drive to the macarthur maze, we have not seen that all week, it has been more like double that time throughout the entire week. Today, just lighter, when you get to the bay bridge, there is a backup of 1015 minutes, which is better than normal. If youre driving on interstate 80 northbound it looks all right, no problems on the san mateo bridge, the san mateo bridge is much improved after the earlier noninjury crash on the span, it has been long enough now it does not look like anybody remembers and traffic is moving along pretty well, the south bay commute is getting were filled in on the 101, the 280 and if you dry this every day and friday you will notice a little bit of a break, 7 34, lets go back to the desk. Reporting live in santa rosa, allison rodriguez, ktvu, fox 2 news. Fire crews standing watching
Contra Costa County to make sure fires dont him. If it did not get contained wouldve had a different scenario playing out right now, a big fire driven by these stiff winds. 12 wildfires broke out yesterday in hot windy, dry conditions, one of the wildfires broke out on a ranch in martinez, the

It has happened because of decisions deferred, delayed, or not made by the largest investor in the state of california, one of the largest in the nation. The governor says the state will hold pg e accountable and make sure jenny modernizes equipment. Pg e ceo l johnson says he understands the frustration. Is not the future any of us want to live in. This is an area just about 45 minutes northeast of the city of los angeles. We have been keeping tabs on the fire, we know the
Los Angeles Police chief is also sending a strong message to residents. He tells people in areas affected by
