Authorities in the south bay are trying to determine why boy was on the train tracks before he was hit a killed by an amtrak train. Eye happened at about 4 20 saturday afternoon. Along Union Pacific line in santa clara. Officials say the boy was on the tracks near lafayette street and highway 101 when he was hit.
