New this morning firefighters in hayward investigating an overnight 2 alarm fire around 2 30 am in an empty building just off of main street. San jose Police Continue to investigate the sophisticated bomb found on the campus of Oak Grove High School. Ann rubin tells the school, Stefan Police are trying to reassure students as the campus reopens. Reporter apprehensive students return to Oak Grove High School knowing two things for certain. The bomber found on campus was at large. Its been a lot of worries actually. Some nonchalant. Some sad. Just shocking. Reporter this was the scene tuesday. Students were first told to shelter in place and then evacuated to a nearby park. The bomb had been discovered by a staff member near the student parking lot and then brought into the administration building. We are learning more about the man accused of fatally stabbing a Good Samaritan on a bart train in heber this week 39yearold jermaine brim now charged with murder and carjacking after a deadly fight on tuesday on a bart train. Reports say that Oliver Williams confronted brim because he was trying to steal shoes from a sleeping passenger. Also we have learned that brim may have been looking for shoes because they were taken from him during a psychiatric evaluation. Brim walked away from the san leandro hospital hours before that stabbing. Alameda county sheriff sergeant wake ray kelly said its not unusual for a psych patient to leave a facility, especially if they are not under arrest. There would be no police cars or officers on the street if we stayed at every psychiatric call that we do in this county.
