The started around 5 00 with an unrelated traffic stop. Officers work the case and a man was passed out behind the wheel of a car a block to the east. When officers checked the license plate, it did not match the vehicle the plate was on. That indicated that the vehicle may have been stolen. We ordered him out. He was noncompliant. Then, after about a minute, they had gotten out, and he put the vehicle in drive. He put the vehicle in dry then he took off towards an officer, to his left. The officer was fearing for his life. He shot off a round into the suspects direction. The suspect got away. One officer was injured in the incident when he jumped out of the way of the vehicle and stepped on a road spike. He was reported in Good Condition and was not taken to the hospital. The suspect was described as a white male or a lightskinned male who was driving a silver fourdoor toyota. Maybe a toyota camry. In june, we had 2. 1 million Leisure Hospitality jobs. A 740,000 retail jobs. 568,000 education and healthcare jobs. 350 service jobs. These are historic numbers. 356,000 manufacturing jobs.
