There is no more than 6300 patients in hospitals throughout the state. That is down 35 compared to before. It is the first drop since june 18. More than 1800 of those patients are in the icu. Seven out of the nine counties are now in the States Coronavirus watchlist. Itcosta countyand san mateo are the only counties that are not being monitored by the state. Today they said some light on a decision to ban Outdoor Dining. They said the state recently issued guidance that Outdoor Dining is not permitted in non variance counties. So far nine inmates have died from the virus since the outbreak began. They house about 3300 inmates. Right now 1469 of them are infected. That is about 44 percent of the entire population. The outbreak started about one month ago after 100 inmates from prison were transferred. Overall, 6000 inmates have tested positive for the coronavirus. Including the 1400.
