Here in the bay area we saw protesters making a statement tonight with their cars. Take a look, traffic on the bay bridge slowed to a crawl around 6 30 tonight as caravans of protesters collectively slowed the evening commute this video from scott fox shows the unusually heavy traffic on the upper deck headed into the city. Because of the backup some transit agencies, including muni , temporarily suspended their trans bay service. We also saw slow traffic on the dunbar bridge in another display of civil disobedience. This was shortly before 6 00 as a small caravan of slow moving cars made their way west across the bridge. In oakland protesters gathered outside city hall tonight to display their displeasure with the term events and also to recognize lives lost in california at the hands of police.
