You can mail it in, you can go in person and even vote early in person. California has about 21 million registered voters so far. And the deadline to register still hasnt happened yet. It is october 19th. Some of those registered voters started casting their balloted at the registrar of Voters Office in santa clara this week. Maybe this is a little overkill but we wanted to get in because it is very important for us, especially this election to get out and vote. Very important. I want to get it in early so there is no question, no problem and get that vote counted. If youre going to vote in person, expect new precautions and protocol this year because of the pandemic. If you vote in person, it is kind of like, you know, were not going to the Grocery Store the same way anymore. Bring your mask, expect to see the signage requiring physical distancing. Hurricane delta now starting to hit parts of texas and louisiana. The category 2 storm is the sixth hurricane to hit the state of louisiana just this year. People living along the gulf coast have been preparing for this storm by boarding up their buildings and homes. Caroline is in lake charles, louisiana with the latest. Reporter delta is forecast to make landfall near the same spot that hurricane laura did just six weeks ago. Southwest louisiana is still repairing structural damage and removing trees from laura. But a storm surge of up to 11 feet could lead to more damage. High winds could spread piles of debris even far. We have been through it before. We just take it one thing at a time. So the storm surge expected to reach anywhere from 7 to 11 feet. And as far as rainfall amounts could see 510 inches even 15 inches. Flash flooding will definitely be a possibility. The fire storm tore through across napa, sonoma and lake counties. Because of the experiences in 2017, it really prepared us for what were experiencing now with the glass fire, whether early evacuation warnings to Public Safety responses. Were much better equipped. There will be small neighborhood gatherings honoring the people who died in the tubbs fire. There will be no large public ceremonies due to the pandemic.
