And it happened earlier this year. Now, on march 17th, seven people ran into that Jewelry Store thats located just off Bollinger Canyon road. A Security Camera showed two of the men confronting Jewelry Store workers and security guards at the door. Theres also video of their escape. Local Police Brought in the fbi to help with this case. Why . Because some of the items stolen, like several rolex watches, were imported from switzerland. So they crossed international and state lines. Investigators say the thieves stole more than 1 million worth of jewelry. That just needed a hook to get into this case. They clearly saw a reason to get into it. This usually is handled by the county. Now, to help with the investigation, San Ramon Police used Security Camera video that clearly showed some of the getaway vehicles to Dodge Chargers. A Jeep Grand Cherokee and a toyota sequoia. The federal agents used a gps tracker in one of the stolen rolexes to track those vehicles and ultimately two of the robbery suspects. Now one of the cars, an orange Dodge Charger, had been seen near that Jewelry Store a week before the robbery. The fbi is still looking for other robbers connected to this Jewelry Theft ring. San jose mayor matt mehan says the city has offered a 5 pay raise plus increased paid parental leave next year. I havent heard yet from any Council Members or from the bargaining units what they suggest we cut on monday. Well get the results of the san jose strike vote. Theres no target date yet for a strike later today. Fast food workers at several san jose restaurants will be going on strike. Theyre joining the group fight for 15, urging state lawmakers to deal with problems like wage theft and unsafe working conditions. The workers also want lawmakers to pass a bill to hold corporations, including mcdonalds, accountable when franchise franchises violate labor laws. Okay our time now. 717 hey, sal, how is that traffic blow out there now . Well, its better than it was dave and pam. We had a couple of earlier things that really kind of complicated things, but the bay bridge is beginning to unwind and we had something on the actual span that did slow things down. I can see i could just tell that things are beginning to flow better now that the lanes are open just ever so slightly and itll probably be better by the 9 00 hour. It takes a while. This is a look at interstate 880. That also looks pretty good heading out to the coliseum and beyond. And the san mateo bridge is also getting a little looser. Its crowded, but its not stop and goes the section you can see here heading out to the peninsula at 718. Lets bring steve back in with todays weather. South thank you. And we saw yesterday and drizzle San Bruno Mountain zero three, tilton parks up to 0. 030. 02 and right near the claremont, right above it there at point line. But theres a lot of trace amounts around the 80 corridor, around el cerrito, also emeryville, berkeley. There was plenty coming in this morning. The high has been pushed off towards the east and that low pressure system is coming in. So as it does, that gives us the basis on the fog go up, we get the drizzle, the onshore breeze and temps coming down for san rafael, san mateo, walnut creek and san jose. Forecast highs, 76, 70, 79 and 74. And you can see a little circulation just off the coast are right over the marin coast and then onshore shore breeze or wind will take us right on out to the delta. We had a few high clouds from that, but not anymore. Its a big low cloud deck and drizzle. Theres even more on the way for tonight and tomorrow, maybe even friday morning. But before we start to see inland temps jump back up into the 90s here. But big fog bank coast and bay drizzle sunny inland may take a wh
