The school was just made aware of this yesterday that the House Committee on education and the workforce for inadequate response, that they are investigating the university for antisemitism on campus now, according to the committee, the of multiple incidents, including when protesters blocked the sather gate for about two months, and then students also broke down a the zellerbach playhouse door, preventing an israeli lawyer from speaking there. Though should note that since that happened, the lawyer has returned to campus for an event that went on as planned, with no disruptions. That happened just two days ago. But then two weeks ago, a congressional at a congressional roundtable event, a female mba student at the universitys Business School accused the universityc of fostering an environment where jewish students are not given equal opportunity to learn. Instead a safe environment for education, berkeley tells jews to stay away from campus, hoping this will pass over. Its not safe to be a jewish student at uc berkeley.
