A Kenya prison senior sergeant is expected in court over claims she swindled Kenyans of millions of shilling in a con racket. Grace Nyamohanga, alias Nasra, who is accused of running an Sh200 million con racket, has surrendered to police yesterday after learning she was wanted. The senior sergeant at Lang’ata Women’s Prison is under investigations for alleged involvement in a syndicate that has seen Kenyans lose millions of shillings on fake promises of being offered jobs in top government institutions. She surrendered at the DCI’s Serious Crimes Unit and she is likely to answer to various charges including obtaining money by false pretences, forgery and money laundering.”
