Kumbh Mela' to be held for 28 days amid COVID-19 pandemic
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ‘Kumbh Mela’ in 2021 would be held in Haridwar for a span of 28 days which includes four ‘Shahi Snans’.

NEW DELHI: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 'Kumbh Mela' in 2021 would be held in Haridwar for a span of 28 days which includes four 'Shahi Snans'. The Uttarakhand government has taken this decision after discussions with Hindu sages and sants.
'Kumbh Mela 2021' would be organised from April 1 to 28, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said. The Uttarakhand government would soon issue a notification regarding the dates of the 'Kumbh Mela'.
