The painted path of straight lines, crooked lines, spirals, dots, and boxes, functions like an obstacle course. Students jump from line to line, spin on a spiral, walk a painted tightrope and play hopscotch. "It's a place where students can go to move their bodies and work on motor development, but it's really a place where students can go and get away from learning," Reed Elementary School Vice Principal Justine Burgess said.
