WDIO Created: May 01, 2021 08:01 PM A “May Day” labor rally to boost the federal Protect the Right to Organize Act was held Saturday afternoon at Center City Park in Superior. Both major Twin Ports labor bodies, Superior Federation of Labor and Duluth Central Labor Body, endorsed the rally which was organized by the Twin Ports Democratic Socialists, with additional endorsements by the United Steelworkers Local 9460, Northern Wisconsin Building and Construction Trades Council, Northwoods Socialist Collective, Progress North, and other labor and community groups. Bryce Harp, President of the Superior Federation of Labor, said he wasn’t there to tell people to blindly support the act, but rather he wanted to encourage people to research it themselves.
