Chris Nichols, who has represented Heneage ward for three years, said he had differences with the leadership of the Opposition Group on North East Lincolnshire Council. He said he was disappointed that former fellow ward councillor, Ros James had been deselected for the ward last year, after serving it for eight years. She was a former cabinet member under the previous Labour administration which lost in May 2019.
