John Wiseman has been suspended by Labour A LABOUR councillor has been suspended by his party after it emerged he had been banned from teaching for altering his students' coursework. John Wiseman, a computing teacher at Calderstones School, in Liverpool was found to have made "extensive" modifications to work before submitting it to the exam board for moderation. A virtual hearing of a professional conduct panel heard he had admitted to altering several of his students' coursework on November 5, 2018. He has subsequently been given an indefinite ban from teaching by the Teaching Regulation Agency. Mr Wiseman, 47, is also a Labour Councillor for St Helens, representing the Bold ward. He was due to stand down in May.
