Lakhbir Singh Rode, a pro-Khalistan terrorist allegedly involved in the 1985 Air India jet Kanishka bombing, has died in Pakistan due to a heart attack. His brother, Jasbir Singh Rode, confirmed the news of his demise. Lakhbir Singh's son, based in Canada, informed Jasbir Singh about his father's death. The 71-year-old Lakhbir Singh was cremated in Pakistan the day after his death.
