Councillors have been recommended to approve a scheme five new buildings at Lammack Primary School in Lammack Road, Blackburn. The £1.55million expansion aims to cater for children from an expected 900 new homes in North Blackburn. Blackburn with Darwen Council hopes to have completed them by September for the new intake. It planning application for the new classrooms is to be debated by the borough's Planning and Highways Committee on Thursday. An officers report recommends its approval with 18 conditions.
