(Image: Strathallen/submitted) Big changes are coming to Lancaster Mall in west Saint John, according to the company that manages the shopping centre. Strathallen recently announced that the 235,000-square-foot mixed-use shopping will undergo a “partial redevelopment” over the coming months. A “national fitness provider” is expected to occupy 15,000 square feet of space next to No Frills and Bank of Montreal. “A highly sought-after but scarce service, we are excited to introduce this service to Saint John’s west-end,” Strathallen said Construction will occur over the coming months with a grand opening expected to take place before the end of the year.
