BACK: Joycelyn Neve with two of her pubs, The Alma Inn and Forest Inn THE founder of an award-winning chain of gastropubs which fell into administration has spoken of her excitement at getting a second chance to make a success of six venues after a rescue deal was struck. The Seafood Pub Company collapsed last May in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, casting questions over several landmark Lancashire pubs which had been owned by the company and their founder Joycelyn Neve. However earlier this year the Oakman Group – an operator based in the south of England – bought six of the group’s venues, placing Ms Neve at the helm of the company’s new North West division.
