ST. PETERSBURG, FL —
Update: Lanes have reopened on Gandy Boulevard westbound following a fatal pedestrian crash investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
Update: A 54-year-old St. Petersburg man was killed early Thursday morning when he walked in front of a Ford truck traveling westbound on Gandy Boulevard near San Martin Boulevard, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 5:53 a.m. Traffic continues to be affected as detectives investigate the fatality.
