Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying had lost both their matches, once against Hong Kong with 18-21, 21-10, 16-21; and later on, to Germany with 12-21, 15-21. As a result, the pair will be making an early exit out of the Olympic games this year. Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying are the country’s top mixed doubles team, ranked #7 in the world.
