Padukone, his wife, and his second daughter all tested positive for COVID-19, but the former shuttle needed to be hospitalized after a prolonged fever. The former badminton player is recovering well and is likely to be discharged within a week, according to Vimal Kumar, badminton coach and Director of Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy. "Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive," Vimal Kumar told the Press Trust of India.
