Legislative committee holds hearing about high school sports

The Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations Subcommittee on Interscholastic Athletics, a special committee formed last year and charged with investigating the N.C. High School Athletic Association, will hold its first hearing in more than a year this morning. The committee's investigation led to new legislation last year that overhauled the administration of high school sports in North Carolina.
